Drummathon X in association with Roland will be... drum roll please... October 20, 2024 at Grandscape in The Colony, TX (25 miles north of downtown Dallas). This is the fourth year it will be held at this thriving entertainment district in October, which also happens to be Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Grandscape sees over 8 million visitors per year!

Drummers, musicians, and friends come together from all over the world to raise funds through their own online fundraising page to fight against breast cancer. The day of the event will feature live music interspersed with drum solos, as well as solos by some of the top celebrity rock star drummers - with a chance to drum alongside the rock stars! Simultaneously, attendees to this free family-friendly event can relax on the lawn or visit shops, restaurants, vendor booths, and autograph booths as well as browse our "touchless bid" silent auctions and our Official Merchandise. There will even be opportunities to snap a picture with our celebrity guests on the pink carpet. While at the show, MC's will be throwing out an array of giveaways from our amazing sponsors.

As always, Drummathon is FREE to attend and FREE to register to fundraise, and you don't have to be a drummer to join in on the fun - anyone can register and fundraise! This is your chance to release your inner drummer!

The top 25 fundraisers ($250 minimum) by October 6, 2024 at 7p CT will receive:

1. A slot for the opportunity to play a timed drum solo at the event. NOTE: If you are one of the top 25 fundraisers, you can choose to accept or decline your drum solo spot. (Non-drummers, this is your chance to Release Your Inner Drummer!)

In addition to the above prizes, the top THREE fundraisers ($250 raised minimum) by October 6, 2024 at 7 p.m. CT will win:

All funds raised at Drummathon go towards mammograms, financial assistance for breast cancer treatment, and for breast cancer research and trials.

Remember, you can fundraise beyond the capture date, however, it will not affect your winning status (again, the deadline for winning is Oct. 6 at 7:00 p.m. CT). TOP FUNDRAISERS - THE FINE PRINT:
If you are one of the top registered 25 fundraisers,

1. Time slot. *We are unable to modify the schedule or accommodate requests.* The person who raises the most funds will go on at the latest drum solo slot and slots will be filled backwards from there.
2. Solo: You may perform a solo no longer than one minute. We are unable to accommodate tracks or music accompaniment for top fundraising drum solos.
3. We are unable to have someone drum in your place. If there is a drummer in your life you want to have a slot, encourage them to start a fundraising page, then promote their link.
4. Each campaign can only have one person associaited with it. Only that person is eligible to be a top fundraiser, win prizes and win a slot for a drum solo.

Honor or memorialize your favorite cancer warrior by having their name placed on our special Warrior Drum! The drum honoring and/or memorializing your favorite cancer warriors will be available for bid at auction and available for photos at the auction booth Drummathon X at Grandscape in The Colony, TX on October 20, 2024. For every $10 you donate, you may specify one name to be placed on the drum.
Deadline for donations for adding a name to the Warrior Drum is September 20, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. CT.

Pay tribute to your favorite cancer warrior NOW by having their name placed on this special Warrior Drum! IMPORTANT: When you select this link, you will go to a donation page for "April's Drummathon X!", select "Rewards", then select the "Warrior Drum" reward. On the next screen, select multiple quantities to increase by increments of $10, then place the name(s) of your warrior(s) in the comments, carefully ensuring the correct spelling. Our auctions for Drummathon X will be held in person AND via the Official Breast Cancer Can Stick It! eBay store (starting on Oct. 10). This means even if you can't attend, you can bid on amazing items from the comfort of your own home! (If bidding online, please note that most items can be shipped, however, some items will be marked for "Local Pick Up Only"). For those attending Drummathon X, you can see most items in person and touchless bid on any item via eBay from your mobile device at the event! Auctions will open on October 10, 2024 and will end towards the end of Drummathon on October 20 at 6:00 p.m. CT. Once the auctions go live on eBay, check each auction item for exact end dates and times.

What is Drummathon?

Drummathon is an annual family-friendly fundraising event that brings together the drumming community (of all skill sets and ages) for one common goal: to fight breast cancer.

As Drummathon works to fight breast cancer, it is also a celebration of life, music, and passion! Top fundraising drummers have the opportunity to showcase their talent in front of family, friends and attendees! The event also features auctions, Official Breast Cancer Can Stick It! merchandise and Drummathon gear, along with some great musical guests throughout the event. It's fun for the whole family! Leading up to the event, drummers, musicians, and friends alike raise funds online to compete for a plethora of awesome prizes.

The 2015 inaugural event was hosted by Dan Shinder of Drum Talk TV and featured rock star royalty; drummers Carmine Appice (Ozzy, Rod Stewart, Ted Nugent), Vinny Appice (Black Sabbath, Dio, Heaven & Hell), and Matt Starr (Ace Frehley, Bang Tango, Mr. Big). Since that time, the celebrity alumni list has grown exponentially.
